I’m a money manager. Over the past 15 years, we’ve seen a lot of crazy bullshit. I’ve read and studied a lot to figure out what the hell is going on.
And now you’re gonna hear about it.
What the hell is a Contrahour?
Todd Harrison came up with a term to describe the hour before the market closing during which prices typically go in the opposite direction of the day’s trend. Institutional investors typically square up their positions during contra-hour and, if they are too long or short, they adjust their holdings.
I liked the term since I’m also a contrarian investor. So I stole it. God bless Todd Harrison for not suing me.
