I don’t think old Wall Street quotes are always accurate since they are borne out of myth and legend and not hard data analysis. However, I’ll point this one out anyway since my wife is dying to replace our old aluminum gutters with copper ones and I fell out of my chair when they gave me the price. Copper is not cheap. But it’s getting cheaper.
They (?) say "every bull market is built with a copper roof." If that’s the case, this bull market is finished, at least for the time being.
